MILVERTON, April 30, 2014 While the Canadian Tire triangle will still be proudly located on the hood of the Scott Steckly number 22 Dodge entry, his race car will have a new look for 2014. The primary colours of Steckly’s car will be black and white, with a smaller amount of red than in previous years.

“I really like the new look,” said NASCAR Canadian Tire Series driver, Scott Steckly. “We started talking about making the change in January and we went to Jerry Hall to come up with some designs for us. He made it a tough choice with all the great concepts he did. When we showed them to Canadian Tire it was a majority vote to make it happen.”

In preparation for opening weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, on May 8, 2014, all NASCAR teams, including Scott Steckly, will reveal and test drive their cars.

Scott began racing in the Street Stock division in 1992 and won a championship his first year. There was no turning back then and he has steadily progressed through the ranks. In 2013 Scott and his team won their third NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Championship and hold the record as the only three time winner. Scott has recorded 15 wins, 12 poles, 54 top 5’s and 65 top 10’s in the NCATS since its inaugural year in 2007. He is in year six of his partnership with Canadian Tire Corporation as primary sponsor and is additionally supported by Osram Sylvania, Mobil 1, Erb Group and AW Millwrights.
